The most important thing about Jesus is having Him in your heart; inviting Him in, giving Him full access to every room, talking with Him about everything, sharing all your secrets with Him, asking His advice on everything, and letting Him decorate how He wants to. Then constantly working on your private relationship with Him, figuring out how He speaks to you, so that you fully understand each other. This is going to be different for each person. He is not the author of fear or confusion. He will guide you through love if you let Him. The more you grow, the deeper your relationship with Him gets, the more you can share His love…

Trying to get the tangles out of my hair today was a real test. I’m afraid I said a lot of ugly things, but then I said “God, I’m sorry, and I want to trust you to help me with this mess”. So . . . you see, it’s even in the little things, which seem really big to us in the moment, that we love God by “trusting Him” to help with ALL things. And, of course, He does help. Mostly He helped me by calming my mind from time to time so that I didn’t hyperventilate as I was crying. First time in my life to have really long hair. Really hard to keep the tangles out! So . . . even though this sounds really funny, it was exasperating, and I was praying a lot even in the midst of the hair storm! LOL Blessings, Noel. It’s so good to hear from you!
