Philippians 2:3-4
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
Read all of Philippians 2
Hard to do sometimes, especially if others are giving us a hard time.
However, we are called to love the Lord our God with all our
heart, soul, mind and strength,
and our neighbor as ourself.
It goes along with “Do unto others as you
would have them do to you”.
With humility that comes from our Lord,
we can look at others with the
right attitude.

It is very hard to do, especially when someone looks down at others, but we need to show God’s love. We cannot change people’s attitude, but God can. Thanks for sharing.

I was just talking with my next door neighbor about that very thing. We just beat our heads up against the wall, if we do it any other way. Which, by the way, I’m guilty of doing in the past. I think that’s one of the things prayer is about. Looking past what we want people to act like, and putting them in the hands of the Lord.
