Verse of the Day – God will tell us great and unsearchable things

VERSE:
Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and
unsearchable things you do not know.
— Jeremiah 33:3

THOUGHT:
God wants us to seek him and call out to him. He wants to answer
us and tell us about things beyond our human comprehension. He
longs to draw us close so that we can know him. Like a scared child
calls out to a loving father in the next room, we too can call on
him knowing that our Father will answer, protect, and comfort us.
Even more than that, our Father will reveal to us things that would
be impossible for us to know without his grace.

PRAYER:
Almighty God and Abba Father, I do want to know you and to be
known by you. Yes, there are things in my heart and my life that I
wish were not there. But I know your grace and I am confident that
you know my heart and its desire to reflect your glory, share your
grace, and display your character. Thank you for the gift of being
your child and having my future secured. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

    1. It makes all the difference in the world in a Christian’s life when we seek Him first, wanting to have a relationship with Him. That’s what is so sweet. The daily walk. Knowing that all things work together, the good, the bad, the ugly. To conform us to His likeness.
Thanks for your comment. We look forward to hearing from you again. Be blessed. Sharon

    1. You know, it’s hard to keep myself disciplined to posting what God tells me to post. So many times, I just go off on a tangent and work for the sake of working. The Holy Spirit has been trying to do a work in me that allows Him to do the guiding, the deciding. Since we’ve started this blog, I’ve tried to check everything at the door, so to speak, with the Lord, and make sure it’s what He wants me to post, not what I want to post. Such is the case with my posting and sharing from your blog. I believe it’s what the Lord wanted me to do. And, that brings me to thank YOU, for sharing in the first place on your messages. We all need to encourage each other, and confirm that we are hearing the Lord, and not our own personal striving. Thank you for your personal message to me. It really helped me a lot today. Be blessed. Sharon
