Prayer Request

I am going through so much pain from surgeries and physical therapy from shoulder, carpal tunnel, and torn wrist cartilage, that it is excruciating to sit at the computer to post messages lately. Unfortunately, I can’t take any type of pain meds like aspirin or even Tylenol because of the many side effects.

Please pray that this will pass quickly so that I can again be able to use the computer to share the messages God puts on my heart. Again, mostly messages that others have so graciously shared, but still amazing encouragement and inspiration that helps us through our day.

Thank you so much for including me in your daily prayers.

Blessings to all of you.

Sharon

    1. It means a lot to hear from you and know that you are praying. It is hard for me to feel incapacitated. I am feeling a bit better, but even sitting in the chair at the computer for a few minutes, I am already beginning to feel the pain in my shoulders. I do hope you will come back here and share with us again. It is truly a blessing to me to know you are thinking and praying for me. God bless you, always, too. Sharon

  1. Today is Tuesday, September 13. I wanted to thank all of you who have been praying for me. I am feeling much better. I go to Physical Therapy today for my shoulder. I think I will be able to progress now. So again, thanks. Prayer changes things!

    1. You are immediately on our prayer list. I understand the fibromyalgia. Everywhere hurts. Can’t get comfortable. I also understand depression. I was diagnosed 12 years ago. It’s a horrible battle. A great place to go to feel understood is at http://www.brokenbelievers.wordpress.com

I have problems sleeping at night, also. Under than the thinning of the bones, I can understand. But just because we don’t fully understand because of our own experiences, doesn’t mean that God doesn’t. He understands completely, and that is why we can boldly approach Him and ask for grace and mercy to withstand whatever is thrown at us.

Thank you so much for sharing your prayer request with us. We all need to be praying for each other. God bless you, new dear friend. Sharon

        1. Well, we do care. Both my husband and I have bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, post traumatic stress disorder and some other disorders. So, we understand it a lot better than a lot of people. We have been able to work through most days by working together on whatever is going on. God really cares, too. He allows us to have these illnesses. It’s hard to understand why. But He also says in His word that He will give us the strength to go through whatever. A lot of the reason for our site is to encourage others, but it also encourages us. You will notice that I’m not much of a writer, but I am blessed to find other people’s writings that are really great. Broken Believers is a site that helps me so very much. Bryan suffers from depression and he is also blessed with a gift to reach out and help people because of his own suffering. Stay in touch with us and reach out to those of us who really care. God bless you. You will always be in our prayers. Sharon

            1. I asked a lady from Broken Believers to share an article with you about Invisible Pain. Hope you found the website. Keep sharing. We’re all in this together. I fully understand the depression. I went through a 4-month time period just lately of hardly being able to get up out of bed. And it’s weird, because I have the most wonderful husband in the world, and my life is good. Really no complaints except the pain. That’s what makes this whole disorder so frustrating. Hang in there! He did!

    1. I am having hiatal hernia problems and will probably have to go in for surgery. Meanwhile I have to have a cat scan of all the vital organs to make sure nothing else is giving me the pain. I know God is healing me. It’s a process. We are also going through much spiritual warfare because of our commitment to the Lord to keep on keeping on. Thanks for your prayers and support, and God bless you in your ministry. Much love and support to you as well.
